Our Award Winning Company Culture
At Muddy Boots, it's all of our staff members who make our nurseries what you see today. From owners Andy and Anna to the educators in each room, every team member has their own impact on the company. For us, a happy team is the most important part about working with children. That’s why we want to share a little insight into our award winning company culture through a look into our Friday Pulse Culture Profile results, so that you can see just how happy our teams are.
Friday Pulse is a review system that encourages all of our teams to work together to make their part of Muddy Boots the best it can be. Every week, each member of staff fills in a quick 5 minute form, evaluating their working week. In the weekly reviews, staff members can celebrate and thank each other, suggest new ideas, and share any frustrations they may have. Having this quick 5 minute review method in our industry is crucial, as staff don’t often get the chance to sit down and have a chat to evaluate their day and discuss larger issues. Through Friday Pulse, they can create conversation starters, ready for a more convenient time, and in turn work together to consistently achieve an overall team happiness where everyone is excited to come to work.
Every so often, our staff use Friday Pulse to fill in a more in depth Culture Profile, allowing us as Muddy Boots to get a more detailed view of what is or isn’t working, ways we can improve, and where we sit amongst other businesses our size, in the UK and in our industry. It's this Culture Profile that we feel is important to share with our families, particularly because of how amazing our last results were!

When it comes to other businesses, our Culture Profile Benchmark Report shows that, in nearly every category, our teams are scoring above the average of Friday Pulse users across the UK, as well as those with a similar organisation size, and most importantly those in the sector of education and training.
