NEWS: Muddy Boots Morley Rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted!
We’re proud to announce that Muddy Boots Morley received Ofsted rating ‘Good’ following their most recent inspection! The team at Morley confidently showed the inspector what a day at nursery is like for the children at Muddy Boots, and their in depth knowledge was highlighted, as well as their communication with the children, parents and each other.
To celebrate, we’re sharing some of the fantastic things said about our Morley setting during the Ofsted inspection.
“The caring staff and leaders are dedicated to supporting children’s care, routines and development. Staff know the children in their care extremely well. They promote children’s sense of self and belonging.”
One of our core values as a nursery is developing the uniqueness of every child; we are glad to see that this is highlighted in the inspectors observations of our provision, and could not be more proud of our team at Morley for showcasing the Muddy Boots ethos every day!
Additionally, the inspector took note of our outdoor facilities, and how much the children use and enjoy them as often as possible.
“Staff ensure that children of all ages receive daily experiences for outdoor play. The outdoor area is planned well so that children receive opportunities to learn how to climb, balance and move in different ways. This supports them to develop their large-muscle skills and coordination.”
The recommendation highlighted by the inspector, that would raise the quality of the already good practice to even higher levels, was to “continue to strengthen the processes for monitoring and evaluating staff practice, to identify any further areas of development” which we have already put into practice.
